SDIBC members are skilled steel detailers who are certified by ASTTBC and may be recognized by the protected titles of... REGISTERED STEEL DETAILERS (RSD), CERTIFIED STEEL DETAILER (CSD) or ASSOCIATE STEEL DETAILER (ASD). These members meet stringent academic and experiential requirements, and are bound by rigorous standards of practice and ASTTBC's Code of Ethics.

Requirements for Certification

Individuals wishing to become professionally certified must meet the requirements set out by ASTTBC. Applicants must also successfully complete ASTTBC's Professional Practice & Ethics Exam.
